Student Resources
We are excited that you are exploring Monmouth College as your future home-away-from-home. If you have questions about resources or accommodations, policies or procedures, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist you. If you are visiting campus, we encourage you to make an appointment with us while you are on campus. The Accessibility Services Office has resources to help students in need of accommodations be successful in their college careers and it is important that you understand how we are different from other colleges and universities. We want to help you become aware of the resources and services we offer to our students.
Please review our Accessibility Services Policy which provides additional details about our services and policies such as:
- Student Rights and Responsibilities
- The difference between high school and College related ADA needs
For those of you who have decided that Monmouth College will be your home-away-from-home and you would like to request accommodations please complete our Disclosure for New Accommodations.
Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) through the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH)
If you suspect you have a disability but do not have the means (insurance) to get a formal diagnosis, the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) might be able to help. DRS offers financial assistance to individuals to cover the cost of diagnostic testing. This support ensures that you receive the necessary evaluations to confirm a disability, enabling you to access appropriate accommodations and support services. Our goal is to provide equal opportunities for all students to succeed in their academic pursuits.
You can put in a referral for this type of service by applying online at DHS: Rehabilitation Services. Please contact Heather Fisher for questions you may have.
