Room Inspections
The residence hall staff, House Managers, and hall residents will be notified before a student room is inspected.
This procedure is to be distinguished from a search of a student’s room. A search of a student’s room will follow the Search and Seizure Policy. Routine inspections of students’ rooms will be made from time to time. In addition, residence hall staff will conduct routine Health and Safety inspections in residence halls for the purpose of maintaining healthy, clean and safe living environments. In accordance with the Room Inspections Policy students will be given prior notification before the Health and Safety inspections are conducted.
