Noise & Quiet Hours
Since a residence hall is a place to study, the quiet hours established by each hall council and residence hall staff must be observed.
A student’s right to study or sleep in an environment free from undue interference and disruption is a priority. As a result, quiet hours are established for all student residential areas.
Additionally, courtesy hours are always in effect and excessive noise that is disruptive at anytime to the living and learning environment is not acceptable. There is a minimum $20 fine for a violation of the Noise and Quiet Hours Policy.
