Housekeeping & Maintenance
We have an amazing custodial crew
Maintenance and custodial staff clean public places, but students share responsibility to keep personal and private areas clean.
The custodial staff cleans public places and common areas, such as bathrooms, lounge areas, kitchen areas and water fountains. Questions about the cleanliness of a public space or common area can be brought to that building’s residential staff or contact us.
Keep your space clean
Residents are responsible for the general condition of their rooms. For the proper use of all furnishings, for reasonable cleanliness and upkeep, and for reimbursement for damage to the room, furnishings, windows, and doors. Residents supply their own linens, towels, and washcloths.
Residents who live in Bowers Hall, Pattee Hall, Peterson Hall, and Founders Village are responsible for cleaning their suites’ bathrooms. Cleaning supplies are supplied at the beginning of each semester. Residence hall staff perform regular health and safety inspections.
Be respectful of our furniture
Under no circumstances is College furniture to be removed from student rooms or public areas. Residents may use only the room furniture assigned to them. Lounge and living room furniture is to remain in designated rooms. Residents are also held collectively responsible for damages in common areas of the building such as hallways and lounges.
