Transcript Requests & Enrollment Verification
Step 1: Complete and Submit the Transcript Request Form
All requests for transcripts, whether official or unofficial, must be made in writing (with a signature) to the Office of the Registrar. We must receive a completed transcript request form that includes your signature and payment (if applicable) in order to release your records. The form may be submitted by mail, fax or email to email@example.com.
Note: If you have outstanding financial obligations to Monmouth College your transcript cannot be released until your obligation is met.
Step 2: Fees and Delivery Options
Electronic transcript delivery is not available for alumni who attended Monmouth College prior to 1986.
We have designated Credentials eScrip-Safe for the electronic delivery of official transcripts. The Credentials eScrip-Safe network allows us to send official transcripts in pdf format to the intended recipient. Transcript requests must include the name and email address of the recipient. The recipient is notified via email when the transcript is ready to be downloaded from the secure network.
The cost to have a transcript sent via the electronic delivery option is $3.00 per email recipient address.
Transcripts will not be sent until both confirmation of payment and the completed transcript request form are received. Requests for electronic transcripts are typically processed within one business day.
Monmouth College does not charge a fee for official transcripts if requested to be sent via U.S. postal mail or issued in person.
Express Mail: If you should need your transcript sent through express service, please contact the Registrar’s Office and we will provide you with the extra shipping charges, based on your service preference and shipping location. Once you have received the amount due for express shipping from the Registrar’s Office, please submit payment using the link below.
Transcripts will not be sent until both confirmation of payment and the completed transcript request form are received.
Enrollment verification requests
Occasionally students may need “proof of enrollment” letters for insurance companies, parent’s employers, lenders, or others.
If you need such a letter, please provide us with the following information:
- Student’s full name and social security number
- Period for which the student should be verified (we can only verify for past or current semesters, not for future semesters)
- Parent’s name
- Company form or information on where to mail the verification
Degree verification requests
Monmouth College has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree verifications for graduates of Monmouth College.
