Parents are our MVPs
Greek life is a family affair. As a parent, take time to learn more about our Greek community. Explore each chapter’s social media and website. Ask questions about what our organizations have to offer your student and allow them to make the best decision for themselves. We’re here to help.
Hazing has NO home here
Monmouth College and the state of Illinois have strict policies prohibiting hazing. This prohibition is strongly supported by each national organization. Allegations of hazing are swiftly investigated by the College and national offices.
Any chapter found to be hazing faces severe consequences, including probation, suspension of chapter activities, or removal of the chapter from the College. In addition, all chapters conduct education on hazing and alcohol abuse.
Please feel free to contact Assistant Director of Fraternity and Sorority Life and Student Engagement, Cullen Marshall, with any questions or concerns. Protecting and maintaining your student’s safety, dignity, and autonomy is our number one priority.
Academics are our top priority
One of the most important benefits of joining a fraternity or sorority is the academic coaching and assistance that comes from advisors and fellow undergraduates. Here is the most up-to-date information on the academic performance of our Greek chapters compared with Monmouth’s general student body.
