Self-Service

Our self-service portal allows students online access to financial aid and billing information.

View your financial aid and bill online

All current and admitted students with self-service access can view detailed financial aid information using the “Financial Aid” tab in the portal. Review the list of documents we might be missing to finalize your aid package, review and accept aid, and walk through next steps for student loans. Students may also view detailed billing statements and make payments using the “Student Finance” tab.

Self-Service Login

Getting started: Accessing self-service for the first time.

Students logging into our self-service portal or your MC email account for the first time will be prompted to complete the multi-factor authentication (MFA) process. Once you have completed this MFA process, you can move forward confidently knowing that your records are protected with an additional layer of security.

Setting up proxy permissions for parents

Students may grant permissions to parents or other chosen family members in self-service to view their records online or speak with members of our staff. To add a parent or family member as a proxy, log into self-service, click on the student name icon, and then “view/add proxy.” You may select permissions for each proxy user. Proxy users may view account activity and make payments. Don’t forget to save changes.

Once a student has added a proxy, that parent or family member will receive an email with their username and password and will be able to log in. Parents or family members should select their student’s name once logged in to view account activity, financial aid details or to make payments.

Privacy of education records

As much as we enjoy speaking with families, once new students enroll at Monmouth, we are restricted from having conversations regarding student educational records unless permissions have been granted by the student via the proxy access. Student educational records are protected by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
