Bid Day
New members of Alpha Xi Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma and Pi Beta Phi gather with their sisters on the steps of Wallace Hall on Bid Day 2023, held on Aug. 27. After a week of recruitment, bids were extended to new members of the three women’s fraternities. Founded at the former Lombard College in nearby Galesburg, Illinois, Monmouth’s Beta Epsilon chapter is the active chapter closest to the sorority’s founding location. Pi Beta Phi was founded in 1867 at Monmouth and Kappa Kappa Gamma was founded in 1870 at the College. Check out more pictures from bid day here. -
