Panhellenic Council

Description

Our Panhellenic Council (Panhel) is the governing body of our three sororities: Alpha Xi Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Pi Beta Phi. Panhel provides sororities with guidelines for recruitment, best practices for operations, and promotes positive contact with every sorority on campus.

Panhel unifies these sororities, especially during Recruitment Week, when incoming freshman women begin the search for their sorority home. You can sign up for formal fall recruitment at this link: Monmouth College Panhellenic Sororities | CampusDirector (mycampusdirector2.com)

Panhel also hosts events and educational programming throughout the year promoting the values, advocacy, and governance of women’s fraternities.

Our College Panhellenic (and all three member sororities) are members of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), which provides a great deal of support and resources for our sorority women.

Our sorority women perform exceptionally well academically, consistently earning a higher average GPA than their unaffiliated/independent counterparts. The Panhellenic average GPA in the Fall 2023 semester was a 3.34, compared to the unaffiliated/independent female GPA of 3.28. The most popular fields of study among our current sorority women are:

  • Elementary Education
  • Psychology
  • Business Administration
  • Communications
  • Biochemistry
  • Political Science
