Title IX Peer Educators

Peer Educators Program (PEP)

Description

The Title IX/VI Peer Educators Program (PEP) facilitates and presents educational programming to the campus at large in efforts to prevent and stop assault, violence, harassment and discrimination among students and employees alike. This organization coordinates the annual Take Back the Night event which is an international movement aimed to raise awareness of sexual assault, end all forms of sexual violence and create safe communities on college campuses.

The Title IX/VI Peer Educators’ mission is to make these topics more comfortable for students because it is not the easiest to discuss, and for their peers to know if they need to talk to someone that they are always there and can be that helping hand for them.
