Current Information
After graduating from Monmouth in 2009, Sarah began work in wildlife research and management but found herself much more interested in the process of treating animals rather than data collection. She began working in a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant and started prepping to apply to graduate school.
Sarah attended vet school at Iowa State University and now works as a veterinarian at Companion Animal Hospital in Mount Prospect, Illinois, where she had worked as a veterinary assistant before graduate school.
She hopes to incorporate her passion for wildlife management and public health by working on zoonotic diseases and transmission. Her ultimate goal is to pursue a position at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
