Professor, Sociology and Anthropology
Prior to entering a doctoral program in sociology, I was a registered nurse; an advance person for a California state assembly person and for the governor of California; and a public relations agent for international musicians. I also worked with a non-governmental organization in Nicaragua.
I chose sociology as a discipline because it made the most sense to me.
