LeAnna Whitaker is the Campus Visit Administrative Assistant for the Admissions Office at Monmouth College. She received her bachelor’s degree in music education in 2012 and her master’s degree in library and information science in 2015. This is her 15^th year providing support services to patrons, students, and patients in various settings. Most of LeAnna’s professional background has been in libraries, where she worked as a Youth Services Programming Librarian in both Alabama and New Mexico. Before that, she served as Music Minister at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Huntsville, Alabama.

LeAnna loves animals, reading, and performing. She has five cats and will be joining the Galesburg Community Chorus for their 2022-2023 season. Her husband was recently hired as the Director of Instrumental Activities at Monmouth College, so she is looking forward to enjoying all the fine arts Monmouth and the surrounding areas have to offer!
