‘Pianist to the Presidents’ featured at next MLCCS event
The David Osborne Trio will take the stage for the next Maple Leaf Community Concert Series event, to be held at 7 p.m. March 23 in the Kasch Performance Hall of the Monmouth College Dahl Chapel and Auditorium.
A pianist, Osborne regularly performs at the Bellagio Resort and Casino in Las Vegas when he is not touring with The David Osborne Trio, which also consists of a drummer and a bass fiddle.
Known as the “Pianist to the Presidents,” Osborne’s performed at the White House during the Reagan, George W. Bush and Clinton administrations. He is also a regular performer for Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter in Plains, Ga., and created and organized President Carter’s 75th birthday tribute in 1999.
