Pipe Band on Parade
Members of the Monmouth College Pipe and Drum Band march in the Warren County Prime Beef Festival Parade on Sept. 4 down East Broadway in front of Dahl Chapel and Auditorium. Celebrating its 75th year, the Warren County Prime Beef Festival is a weeklong celebration of Monmouth-Warren County agriculture, heritage and culture. The festival is also one of the events that unofficially kicks off the fall season in west-central Illinois. The college was represented by several groups in the parade, including President Patricia and Jeff Draves, the Fighting Scots Marching Band, cheerleaders and dance team, and the college’s fine and performing arts.
