We are always grateful and humbled for those who support Monmouth. Donors within our McMichael Heritage Circle, 1853 Society and Loyal Scots Society are acknowledged throughout the year and are invited to special events held on an annual basis, exclusive to members.

McMichael Heritage Circle

Honoring the devotion of former presidents Jackson B. McMichael and his son, Thomas H. McMichael, who together served the College 42 years, the McMichael Heritage Circle recognizes our stewards that have contributed through significant gifts or services.

The circle has five categories:

• Lifetime giving of $1,000,000 or greater, including cash gifts and planned gifts
• Planned gifts and Bequests of $10,000 or greater
• Endowed gifts of $50,000 or greater
• Capital gifts of $50,000 or greater
• Faculty and Staff Years of Service: 25+ years

 

The 1853 Society

Named to commemorate the year of Monmouth College’s founding, the 1853 Society recognizes alumni, parents, friends and organizations that make annual leadership contributions in support of the College. The society has five clubs, each representing a level of generous giving.  

How to become a member

Membership to the 1853 Society is available to all individuals and organizations who give an annual gift of $1,000+ to the college through unrestricted as well as restricted designations. Your annual gift of $1,000 or more will significantly impact our students, faculty and facilities. Membership will be accepted through a one time annual contribution or through the accumulation of multiple gifts during the fiscal year. Your membership will then be renewed each fiscal year a gift of $1,000 or more is made to the college.

Giving Levels

• Presidents Club $25,000 and higher
• David Wallace Club $10,000 to $24,000
• Quinby Club $5,000 to $9,999
• Founders Club $2,500 to $4,999
• Monmouth Club $1,000 to $2,499

Other Annual Giving Levels

• Scots Club $500 to $999
• Tartan Club $250 to $499
• Highlanders Club $100 to $249
• Pipers Club Gifts under $100

 

Loyal Scots Society

Established in 2015, the Loyal Scots Society recognizes individuals and organizations that contribute to Monmouth College in three or more consecutive fiscal years, thereby providing ongoing support to Monmouth College’s commitment to deliver a first-class academic and co-curricular educational experience to all its students.
