Artsy Math or Math & Art

Gr. 3-4 or 5-6
Do you enjoy art? Do you enjoy math? This class is designed for both! Students will create using math concepts like symmetry, tessellation, geometry and measurement. No artistic skill necessary—if you can measure, color, and draw a straight line (maybe with a ruler) - you can create art and learn about math.

Virtual Field Trip

Gr. 3-4 or 5-8
Pack your suitcase and get ready for a trip! Well, maybe just bring your imagination and a list of places you want to visit. In this class you will take virtual field trips and virtual tours on the computer each day! We’ll go to the top of a tower, a mountain, a roller coaster, and lots more. The best part is our favorite trips will be added to a CFK website so you can go and visit again and again. Bring your headphones so you can listen too!

You may have found yourself rearranging furniture, doodling your dream bedroom, making shelters for toys or animals, or even planning out an entire imaginary city. We’ll work together on an “architecture impact project,” that is kid friendly, space changing, and sharable with others who care about it! Join us to make a difference with design.
