- Alumni Board members share their love for Monmouth with others, including their own wee Scots.
The Alumni Board of Directors supports the Monmouth College Alumni Association – the body of all former Monmouth students who have completed at least two semesters of academic work. These elected men and women come from a variety of professional backgrounds, geographic areas and class years. Alumni Board members are elected to five-year terms from nominations submitted by or solicited from alumni and College administration.
We are 34 alumni who span six decades, storytellers from the past who meet in the present to help ensure the future of Monmouth.
By volunteering their time and talent, board members strengthen and maintain the ties of Monmouth’s alumni to their alma mater. The board collects and votes upon alumni awards for Distinguished Alumnus, Distinguished Service, Young Alumnus and Family of the Year.
They also assist the College by providing leadership for the alumni chapters program, host alumni events, serve on class reunion planning committees, assist with admissions efforts and support the Monmouth Fund. The board meets in full session twice a year – once in the fall and once in the spring – for meetings in which College administrators enlist board members’ advice on matters of interest to alumni and the Alumni Association.
