Schedule of Events:
Friday, October 6th
- 7:30 am-4:30 pm – Art Show – America Questions No Answers by artist Jesse Howard, Hewes Library.
- 9 am – 40th Reunion Golf Group, Gibson Woods; Join classmates from the Class of 1983 for a 9 am tee time at Gibson Woods. (Pay individually at Gibson Woods).
- 12 pm – Meaning of Life Lunch, Weeks House; Bring a sack lunch, bring a friend and discuss life’s deeper purpose with faculty and students.
- 2 pm – Champion Miller Headstone Dedication, Monmouth Cemetery; Reception to follow at The Champion Miller Center for Equity, Inclusion, and Community; The center was dedicated in Champion Miller’s name in 2022. Previously unmarked, a SOfIA research project in 2022 lead to the exact location of Champion Miller’s final resting place.
- 3:30 pm – Alumni Office Re-dedication, Mellinger Office of Development & College Relations.
- 5 pm – Alumni Impact Awards, Center for Science and Business, Mellinger Commons; A recognition of alumni and members of the Monmouth College community who have made a significant impact on the College and their community.

- 5 pm – 15th Reunion Social, Market Alley Wines; Join classmates from the Class of 2008 for wine and reminiscing. (Cash bar).
- 6 pm – Fighting Scots Volleyball vs. Greenville, Glennie Gymnasium; The 2023 Fighting Scots Volleyball Team is hoping that this Homecoming, alumni are able to come back to Monmouth and be recognized for all the amazing things they accomplished not only in crimson and white, but also beyond the Monmouth doors! The future is bright for the program, but the team wants to honor the amazing women that came before them.
- 7 pm – Ross Clayton Concert, April Zorn Memorial Stadium; We know him as Ross Donnan ’12, but he’s known on The Voice as Ross Clayton and will be coming back to campus for a special concert on the football field!
- 7 pm – 40th Reunion Reception, Mellinger Office of Development & College Relations; Join classmates from the Class of 1983 for refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and reminiscing with a special viewing of the Ross Clayton concert and Spirit Shout fireworks. (Cost: $20).
- 7 pm – 35th Reunion Reception, 510 N 12th St, Monmouth, IL 61462; Join classmates from the Class of 1988 for hors d’oeuvres, refreshments and reminiscing. (Cost: $20).
- 8 pm – 30th Reunion Social, Danny’s Tap; Join classmates from the Class of 1993 for pizza, cocktails and reminiscing. (Cash bar).
- 8 pm – 20th Reunion Social, Tootie’s D.T.L.; Join classmates from the Class of 2003 for pizza, cocktails and reminiscing. (Cash bar).
- 8 pm – Spirit Shout, April Zorn Memorial Stadium; Students will dance, shout and cheer for a Fighting Scots’ victory, Homecoming Queen and King will be announced, and we’ll close the evening with a spectacular fireworks show.

Greek Organizations, the Class of 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018 will have designated spaces. (Cost $50). Free tailgating is available at the parking lot at 400 E. Euclid Ave.
- 10:30 am – 12:00 pm – Departmental Open Houses; Walk through classrooms and catch up with your favorite professors.

- 11:30 am – Parade; See the floats and hear the pipe band, marching band and fraternity songs. (Class of 1983, 1988, 1993, 1998, 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018 will walk in Parade). Following the parade, go directly to the Tartan Terrace for Reunion Class Photos.
- Noon – Reunion Class Photos, Tartan Terrace, Hewes Library; Reunion classes will gather to have group photos taken directly following the parade. Einstein Bros. Bagels will be open starting at 12 p.m., so grab a drink and join your class photo!
- Noon – 2 pm – Alumni Lunch, April Zorn Memorial Stadium, East Hilltop; Join fellow Fighting Scots alumni for lunch on the hilltop before the game. (Cost: $15).
- Noon-5 pm – Art Show – America Questions No Answers by artist Jesse Howard, Hewes Library.
- 12:30 pm – 15th Reunion Reception, Mellinger Office of Development & College Relations; Join classmates from the Class of 2008 for refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and reminiscing with a special viewing of kickoff. (Cost: $20).
- 1:30 – 3:30 pm – Alumni Board Hospitality Tent, April Zorn Memorial Stadium, East Hilltop; Visit the Alumni Tent to say hello to Alumni Board members and get snacks and swag!
- 2 pm – Fighting Scots Football Game vs. Grinnell, April Zorn Memorial Stadium.
- 5 pm – 25th Reunion Reception, Mellinger Office of Development & College Relations; Join classmates from the Class of 1998 for refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and reminiscing following the football game. (Cost: $20).
- 5 pm – 35th Reunion Social, Tootie’s D.T.L.; Join classmates from the Class of 1988 for pizza, cocktails and reminiscing. (Cash bar).
- 5 – 8 pm – All Monmouth Reunion Celebration, The American Legion; Gather with fellow alumni for hors d’oeuvres and drinks and reminisce about your days at Monmouth College. All alumni and friends are welcome to join the celebration.
- 6 pm – 5th Reunion Social, 1st Avenue Lounge; Join classmates from the Class of 2018 for pizza, cocktails and reminiscing. (Cash bar).
- 6 pm – 10th Reunion Social, Danny’s Tap; Join classmates from the Class of 2013 for pizza, cocktails and reminiscing. (Cash bar).
- 7:30 pm – College Choirs Concert, Dahl Chapel, Kasch Performance Hall; Featuring a wide range of repertoire from classic to contemporary, the Homecoming Choir Concert will include performances by the Monmouth Chorale, Concert Choir, and Chamber Choir. Choir alumni are invited to join us at the end of the concert to sing “A Flame of White and Crimson”!
Sunday, October 8th
- 10:30 a.m. ― Alumni Softball Game, Softball Field; Includes free cookout lunch following the game. Softball alumni wishing to play can contact Coach Alexa McClaughry, although all are welcome to attend.
- 1-9 pm – Art Show – America Questions No Answers by artist Jesse Howard, Hewes Library.
- 2 pm – Organ Recital, Dahl Chapel, Kasch Performance Hall; Come celebrate the rededication of the Dahl Chapel Organ. Dr. Solee Lee-Clark will present an organ recital featuring the music of William Byrd, G. H. Handel, and Franz Liszt. Following the performance will be a post-concert discussion of the renovation project led by Randall E. Karstens, organ technician.
