Golden Scots
A weekend to honor alumni who celebrate their class reunions.
Mark your calendars! Golden Scots is June 1-4, 2023, and this year we are celebrating the classes of 1963, 1968, 1973, and 1978.
During the Golden Scots Celebration you can stay on campus (in an air-conditioned residence hall!), reconnect with classmates, tour the Maple City, participate in a nostalgic chapel service and attend educational seminars. You will also get to see all that’s new at Monmouth College and have an opportunity to interact with students, faculty and staff.

Informal socializing is a highlight of the Golden Scots Celebration. In the evening, a social hour is in the main lounge of the residence hall. Beverages and snacks are provided (compliments of the Alumni Association) and copies of Ravelings yearbooks are available for viewing. Suites in Bowers Hall also have lounges for small gatherings.
We recommend casual clothes during the day and business casual in the evenings. Bring umbrellas and sweaters/jackets in case of rain or cold weather, or cool air-conditioned buildings. Bring your own alarm clock if you need an alarm. Bed linens, a light blanket (please feel free to bring additional thick blankets, if you would like), a pillow, towels, a bar of soap and a few hangers will be provided for each guest. Please pack other necessary toiletries and, because bathrooms enter from a common area, we suggest a bathrobe.
Sorry, pets are not allowed on campus.
Yes, wireless internet access is available across campus and in residence halls. Computers and printers are also available at the Registration Center in Bowers Residence Hall.
