Resources & Opportunities
Get in the studio, and go on the air
Our versatile, professional television studio is home to MC-TV, which features news, entertainment and original student films broadcast to the campus on cable Channel 14. Our radio station, WPFS-FM (105.9) is a student-operated broadcast station.
We operate a computer/media lab with Windows-based design and digital editing stations equipped with audio/video editing, multi-media production, graphic design, web authoring and other software.
Theory, practice and responsible advocacy
Public relations majors can work closely with supportive and approachable professors. This allows students to engage with course material in a way that would be impossible at a larger state institution.
To help prepare students for successful careers, we emphasize critical thinking skills and the ability to seize opportunity, communicate effectively, engage in sound research, and break complex problems into manageable pieces.
