  • 12 credits are required for this major. Courses for this major come from MATH (9-11 credits) with the remining credits coming from COMP, DATA, STAT, BIOC, ECON, MCTE, or PHYS.

Additional Notes:

  1. Students pursuing a MATH major should have met the Core Foundations FYQR 120 requirement via waiver.
  2. MATH 151 has a perquisite of MATH 141, which MATH majors often do not need to take (but it might be needed for some students).
  3. COMP 151 meets the requirement for the Mathematics Programming requirement.
  4. A total of 4 credits of MATH major electives is required to complete the Mathematics major.

Guidelines for Core Requirements:
