Resources & Opportunities
- Students in Méridia, Mexico, for a semester-long study experience.
- Our Méridia program is led by a Monmouth faculty member who spends the full semester with students in the Mexican city.
- Grenada, Spain, is a popular study-abroad destination for Spanish students interested in studying in Europe.
Going global
International travel is strongly recommended for language students, and studying a language can greatly enhance study abroad experiences. There’s no better way to immerse yourself in a culture than to speak the language.
Through our Office of Global Engagement, we offer short-term trips, full-semester and year-long opportunities to travel pretty much anywhere. Plus, through our Passport Program, Monmouth reimburses students eligible to apply for a U.S. passport for the cost of getting their first passport or renewing a passport.
Related academic programs
We offer academic minors in Asian studies and Latin American studies, both supported by our language programs. Language students may also be interested in our programs with a strong global component, including Global Public Health, Global Food Security, and international studies.
