Resources & Opportunities
We provide unique opportunities for our minors and other students to engage in the work of ending world hunger beyond the borders of campus.
We collaborate with other organizations and institutions to provide connections and inspiration. Monmouth is a member of Presidents United to Solve Hunger and the Alliance to End Hunger. Our students have attended the World Food Prize and Universities Fighting World Hunger Summit.
Our faculty will work with you to integrate your goals with an interdisciplinary focus on addressing global food security. Many of our students choose to study abroad, which allows them to experience hunger challenges outside the United States. We also offer opportunities to work in our Educational Garden and Farm.
Global Food Security students might also be interested in our certified Peace Corps Prep program, which gives Peace Corps applicants a leg up in the application process after graduation. Many of our faculty are Peace Corps alumni.
