BA in Biology 

  • 31 credits are required to complete this degree program.
  • 13.5 credits are required for this major. Courses for this major come from BIOL (9.5 credits), CHEM, MATH, PHYS, or STAT.
  • To make good academic progress, take 4 course credits each semester.
  • Requirements for the Biology Major are included. Fill in the remaining credits every semester with Core Requirements (see guidelines below) or general electives.

  1. FYQR 120 may be met by a QR waiver. If it is taken in the fall, then CHEM 140 is moved to the spring.

  3. A total of 4 credits of BIOL major electives is required to complete the Biology major.

Guidelines for Core Requirements:

    • Check if an Engagement course is offered within the Major requirements.
