One class at Monmouth you still think about today?
I still think about a class I took with Professor David Suda called “Modernism and the Great War.” It was incredible course that took an interdisciplinary approach to studying the late-nineteenth and early-twentieth centuries using history, art, music, and literature.
Advice for seniors?
Don’t settle for a job you hate but pays the bills. Do something that makes you happy, something that satisfies your species-being. The ultimate point of life is to be happy. If you are not happy, everything else is moot.
Favorite Monmouth tradition?
My favorite tradition is the bagpipers coming through the dorms on Scots Day and playing Scotland the Brave.
