What is Saturday of Service?

Saturday of Service is a day that occurs each semester in which students at Monmouth College volunteer within the local community at pre-assigned locations.

Who can participate?

Any registered student at Monmouth College can participate.  Students can register individually or as members of their student organization.

What happens during the day?

The day usually starts off with everybody meeting at the Stockdale Center to receive their assignments.  Students then head out to their site and spend time volunteering and helping others.  Students then come back to the Stockdale Center and enjoy a group lunch while reflecting on the day.

Why should I participate?

Saturday of Service is a great way to spend time with your friends, meeting new people, and helping our neighbors in the community who are in need of help or assistance.  It can also fulfill service requirements for certain student organizations.

How do I sign up?

Announcements will be made closer to the event date on how to register.  Keep alert!
