When Andrew Farraher stepped on the MC campus, he realized how great the atmosphere was. Visiting a current student at the time helped convince him that Monmouth was a perfect fit.
While in high school, Farraher was not that social. Once he came to college and became involved, he instantly became a very outgoing person.
“I used to not talk to anyone I didn’t know that well,” explained Farraher. “I never initiated conversation. But since coming to college I have come out of my shell.”
Farraher is involved in ASAP, Crimson Masque, and serves as a Student Assistant for the Football Team.
Originally a history education major, Farraher realized that he did not know what he wanted to do with his life. He took his communications class and his professor helped him realize what he really wanted to do, Sports Marketing.
Farraher has secured an internship with Monmouth College alum Joe Stefani (’04) with the collegiate wooden bat league team Rockford Foresters. He will serve as the Manager of Game Day Operations.
Hoping to secure future employment, Farraher realizes that connections with Monmouth College alumni can “get your foot in the door” for your future.
