General Policies
The use of Monmouth College facilities is intended primarily for the support of the instructional program of the institution and to enhance the learning environment for students. These events would include programs sponsored by campus organizations, academic departments or affiliated organizations. Non-campus affiliated organizations may reserve Monmouth College facilities for programs, meetings and conferences by referring to the Event & Conference Services section. Where applicable, a rental or service fee may be charged.
Monmouth College reserves the right to accept or decline the use of College facilities due to the time, place, and manner of use so as not to interfere with the mission and regular operation of the institution. The use of Monmouth College facilities and grounds must at all times conform to the following regulations and to local, state, and federal laws.

Skateboards, roller blades, and skates are not permitted inside the Stockdale Center.

Skateboarding is not permitted on the terrace in front of the Stockdale Center. Recreational activities, such as frisbee and hackeysack, are not permitted inside the Stockdale Center.

The use of candles or other lighted objects is generally not permitted. Exceptions to this policy may be granted from Associate Dean of Students.

Only student organizations registered with the Greek Life, Leadership and Involvement Center are allowed to reserve College facilities.

Sound equipment must not disrupt normal functions of the college, including academic buildings, the residence halls or the surrounding community. Band functions and/or functions involving the amplification of music are restricted, with exception approved by the Associate Dean of Students & Director of Campus Events.

Outdoor dances and concerts must have prior approval of the Associate Dean of Students & Director of Campus Events. Other special events such as pep rallies, ceremonies, or recreational activities which include the use of bands and/or amplification equipment may be held in approved locations only with prior approval the Associate Dean of Students & Director of Campus Events.
