The Perspectives Committee is all about promoting enjoyable and educational
issues that are important and relevant to our campus. We prove
that education can be fun, informative, and beneficial. An example of an event the
Perspectives Committee has hosted is: A Shot of Reality, an improv/comedy
lecture on alcohol awareness. We have also had a texting a driving
simulator where students could get behind the wheel of a
car and test just how well they can text and drive. After they had taken their
turn “on the road” students learned some of the facts about texting and
driving.
