My name is Emily Orenstein and I'm the Performing Arts Chair for ASAP! The Performing Arts Chair is in charge of researching, contacting, and hosting any musicians, comedians, and other performers that we have. I really enjoy this position and my favorite part is getting to meet and hang out with the performers! They are always really nice and fun to get to know! In the past, we have had Augustine, the music duo featured on MTV's My Life as Liz, a comedian juggler, a mentalist, and plenty of comedians. We have a few comedians coming up and I'm super excited! One of them uses balloon animals in his comedy routine!
I have been involved in ASAP since the beginning of my freshman year. I got involved because I wanted to get involved on campus and wanted to help plan events. I am now a junior and a double major in Communication and Public Relations with a minor in Business Administration. ASAP has become one of my main focuses in school and will help prepare me for life after college.
