I am Tim Gilmour and I am the ASAP President. I am currently a senior majoring in Computer Science. I have been a part of ASAP since the beginning of my freshman year. In the past three years I have been on the executive board working with After Hours, Scots Day and Homecoming, Performing arts, and finally President this year. During my time with ASAP I have learned not only how to successfully plan events but also how to work with others and become a campus leader. Throughout the years I have made many fun memories and built a number of friendships that I would have never otherwise made.
ASAP is an organization that is open to every student on campus and can be as big or as little of a commitment that you desire. You can apply to be a member of the exec board, be a member of the A-Team, or help in whatever way you feel best fits you. Even if you don’t want to be directly involved you can always get a group of your friends together and attend our events as they are always open to everyone and are completely free!
In the end ASAP is all about providing entertainment to the campus and we are always open for input as we want to know what is best for our fellow students. After all, you are the ones who decide what you want to come to campus! If you have any suggestions or questions about events or just about ASAP in general feel free to contact me or any other executive board member.
