Scots Connection leadership conference is an annual event that invites stand-out alumni to share their secrets to success with current students.

Networking Opportunities

Monmouth provides students with many ways to connect with its world-wide network of alumni.

  • The Wackerle Center: The Wackerle Center assists students in leadership and career development. The Center regularly sponsors programs and events such as etiquette dinners, career development topics, and job fairs.
  • Scots Connection: The Scots Connection is an annual leadership conference that brings in alumni from various fields to discuss leadership and career advancement.
  • Alumni Visits: Monmouth graduates exceling in their fields visit and present to classes regularly. In 2011 one of the founders of MTV, Dwight Tierney '69, discussed the importance of research in succeeding businesses.
  • Greek Life: Greek Life is growing at MC and opens doors to closely connected alumni. The eight chapters at Monmouth are Alpha Xi Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Pi Beta Phi, Alpha Tau Omega, Phi Delta Theta, Phi Gamma Delta, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Zeta Beta Tau.
  • Internships: An accomplished alumni base help students find internships. The CEO of SonoSite recently helped 2 Monmouth students land paid positions in marketing.
