Chicago Brass Quintet 2017

Natioanlly prominent ensemble to perform Dec. 7 Maple Leaf Community Concert
MONMOUTH, Ill. – The Chicago Brass Quintet will be featured at the next Maple Leaf Community Concert Series event at Monmouth College.

Hailed as ”one of the premiere ensembles of our time” by the International Trumpet Guild Journal, the quintet will perform at 7 p.m. Dec. 7 in the Kasch Performance Hall of Dahl Chapel and Auditorium.

While on campus, the group will also present an afternoon workshop for Monmouth music students.

The quintet rose to national prominence with the release of its first recording for Crystal Records and its guest appearance at the International Trumpet Guild’s Conference.

The musicians have performed throughout the United States, Canada, South America and Asia. They have made guest performances with symphony orchestras and other ensembles, as well a gospel program with the Brown Singers of Columbus, Ohio.
