Winter Weather Update
Semester will start as scheduled
Monmouth College students may now return to the College’s residence halls. The 2017 spring semester will begin on Monday, Jan. 16.
Residence halls were scheduled to open at noon Sunday, Jan. 15. But because of a winter storm watch issued for the region Saturday by the National Weather Service, students may return to campus beginning Saturday, Jan. 14.
As scheduled, meals will resume in Stockdale Student Center beginning with supper on Sunday night.
Students who decide to return early to campus should exercise caution by checking road and weather conditions.

The National Weather Service winter storm watch lasts through 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16. The NWS forecast calls for freezing rain to develop Sunday before gradually changing into rain late Sunday night.
