Tooley to discuss Bulgaria

Bren Tooley, associate dean of academic affairs and director of the grants program at Monmouth College, will present an International Luncheon talk on March 23 at noon in the Whiteman-McMillan Highlander Room of the college’s Stockdale Center.

Titled “A Fulbright Scholar’s Experiences an Research on Higher Education in Bulgaria,” Tooley’s talk will offer an overview of her four-month Fulbright Scholar experience last year at the University of Veliko Tarnovo. She will touch on the subject of Bulgarian higher education and will also describe the courses she taught and the outcome of her research project.

A buffet lunch, featuring international foods, is available. A meal ticket may be purchased for $7.25 in the food service office in Stockdale Center. Lunch reservations must be made in advance by calling 309-457-2149, but anyone may attend the presentation without obligation to purchase the meal.
