After its initial session was cancelled due to the weather, Monmouth College’s Great Decisions program will begin its 30th year on Jan. 27 with a program titled “The Persian Gulf.”
Steve Bloomer, a retired colonel who served full-time in the National Guard for 22 years and is now a senior development officer for the college, will introduce the topic at 7:30 p.m. in the Tartan Room of the college’s Stockdale Center. Following his opening remarks, there will be approximately one hour of group discussion.
Great Decisions is a nationwide program sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association, a non-partisan, non-governmental association that works to increase Americans’ understanding of significant foreign policy issues.
