The Monmouth Winds, under the direction of Steve Richter, and the Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Tony Oliver, will present a concert on Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. in the Kasch Performance Hall of Monmouth College’s Dahl Chapel and Auditorium.
“I am so proud of our students’ hard work and dedication,” said Richter, MC’s director of instrumental activities. “Both ensembles have prepared very ambitious programs that I know our audience will enjoy.”
Selections performed by the Monmouth Winds will include “Gavorkna Fanfare” by Jack Stamp, “The Hounds of Spring” by Alfred Reed and “Pas Redouble” by Camille Saint-Saens.
Among other selections, the Percussion Ensemble will perform “Parallax” by James Romig and “St. Louis Blues” by W.C. Handy. Student conductors Kevin Breweur of Farmington and Joey Mason of Knoxville will be featured.
