Mozambique is topic of MC's next International Luncheon

11/01/2012
Faculty member Amy Caldwell de Farias will discuss her experiences living and working in Mozambique at Monmouth College’s next International Luncheon program on Nov. 8 at noon in the Whiteman-McMillan Highlander Room of the Stockdale Center.

An associate professor of history, de Farias will discuss the ways that the southeastern African nation is a “land of contrasts,” which is the title of her talk.

A buffet lunch, featuring international foods, is available. A meal ticket may be purchased at the luncheon for $7.50, but reservations must be made five days in advance by calling 309-457-2149. Anyone may attend the presentation without obligation to purchase the meal.
