Pianist Mac Frampton will be the featured artist for the final Maple Leaf Community Concert of the season on April 26 at 7 p.m. in the Kasch Performance Hall of Monmouth College’s Dahl Chapel and Auditorium.
Tickets to the event are $25 and can be purchased at the Buchanan Center for the Arts in Monmouth.
Billboard Magazine has called Frampton “an immensely talented pianist, at home in a wide variety of musical settings.” A guest soloist with such orchestras as the Boston Pops, Mantovani, Cincinnati and St. Louis, Frampton has spent 30 years as an entertainer, performing more than 3,000 concerts worldwide. Despite his longevity, Frampton remains committed to a fundamental belief – that music is a powerful form of communication, often able to speak more deeply than words.
Currently in its 20th season, the concert series brings a broad range of acclaimed performing artists to the Monmouth College stage each year. The non-profit organization operates entirely on donations, memberships and ticket sales.
