Monmouth College’s Bren Tooley and Presiana Yorgakieva will present a program on Bulagaria at the next monthly meeting of Monmouth Associates on Dec. 16 at noon in the Whiteman-McMillan Highlander Room of the Stockdale Center.

Tooley, associate dean of academic affairs and director of the grants program, spent four months in Bulgaria earlier this year on a Fulbright Scholar grant. Yorgakieva is an exchange student from Varna, Bulgaria. The two women will speak about “Experiences and Holiday Traditions of Bulgaria.”

The program is free; an optional buffet lunch costs $9. Reservations can be made by calling 309-457-2316 by Dec. 13 or by e-mail at mcarwile@monm.edu.

A free shuttle van transports passengers from two locations to every Associates luncheon. The van will stop at the Faith United Presbyterian Church parking lot at 11:45 a.m. and at the northeast quadrant of the Public Square at approximately 11:50 a.m. It will return to both locations immediately following the program. Shuttle reservations should be made by calling the above number.
