Monmouth College’s theatre department and the Buchanan Center for the Arts will present “A Day of Interactive Storytelling” by students in the “Children’s Theatre” course on March 27 at the Buchanan Center. Times for the free event are from 10 to 11 a.m. and 2 to 4 p.m.
Stories appropriate for first- through fourth-grade students include “The Rainbow Fish” by Marcus Pfister and “An Extraordinary Egg” by Leo Lionni, which will be presented during the morning session. At 2 p.m., “The Napping House” by Audrey Wood and “King Louis’ Kats” by Dr. Seuss will be read.
Students involved with the project include Shala Barnes, Julie Battcher, Mary Bohlander, Hannah DeBoer, Megan Doud-Carter, Kayt Drost, Sarah Kindt, Jamie Kistler, Amanda Lopez, Danielle O’Donoghue, Wynton Shannon, Jahlel Watkins and Ariana Willis.
