Borgione begins development research position

Robin Borgione has joined the Monmouth College staff as assistant director of development research and donor relations. Her first day was April 16.

Borgione will perform the critical role of overseeing the college’s prospect research and management system. She will develop and implement a plan for strategically identifying and researching constituents with the capacity to provide significant philanthropic support to the college. She will also be charged with developing a comprehensive stewardship program to recognize donors who have already made a significant philanthropic gift.

Borgione comes to Monmouth College from OSF St. Mary Foundation, where she was a development associate for the past 18 months. She maintained the foundation’s Raisers Edge database, prepared gift letters, chaired the foundation’s annual employee campaign and assisted with special events coordination.

A 2007 graduate of Benedictine University, Borgione majored in communication arts. She was a student reporter for the school’s newspaper and TV station and was a radio promotions intern for WLS 94.7 in Chicago. Prior to attending Benedictine, the Knoxville High School graduate received an associate’s degree from Carl Sandburg College.

Borgione resides in Galesburg with her husband, Paul, and their daughter, Olivia.
