Motivational speaker Carlos Ojeda Jr. will continue Monmouth College’s observation of Latino Heritage Month with a lecture on Sept. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Whiteman-McMillan Highlander Room in the Stockdale Center.

Free and open to the public, Ojeda’s talk is titled “What Do You Know About Latino Heritage?”

Described as an “educator/motivator/communicator/poet,” Ojeda says his obsession with living life completely and passionately is rivaled only by his desire to share his message. His ability to extend the touch of mere spoken words and to transform them into powerful, thought-provoking, emotionally-charged commentaries about life, education and society, has been highly praised.
