Barry McNamara
To mark the observance of Constitution Day at Monmouth College, the documentary “Unconstitutional: Is There a War on Our Civil Liberties,” will be shown Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. in Room 113 in Wallace Hall.

The third in a series of films by Public Interests Pictures, “Unconstitutional” examines the post-9/11 treatment of civil liberties in the U.S.

“It’ll remind you of what America used to stand for and what it seems it falling for now,” said the makers of the film.

At the conclusion of the 2004 documentary, political science faculty Annika Hagley, Farhat Haq and Ira Smolensky will lead a discussion about the U.S. Patriot Act.
