Associate dean of students Mohsin Masood will introduce the topic “Sanctions and Non-Proliferation” at Monmouth College’s next Great Decisions program on Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Tartan Room of the Stockdale Center.

The countries and regions of the Caucasus all have strong national identities but have long lived in the shadow of their larger neighbors: Russia, Iran and Turkey. The program will examine how this influences the Caucasus of today and how the region’s energy resources play into its relations with the outside world.

Following Masood’s opening remarks, there will be approximately one hour of group discussion.

Great Decisions is a nationwide program sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association, a non-partisan, non-governmental association that works to increase Americans’ understanding of significant foreign policy issues.
