Guest speaker John Lynn will present his popular “Main Street, Illinois” program on March 28 at 9 a.m. in the Morgan Room of Poling Hall.
Although Lynn’s presentation was organized by English lecturer Kevin Roberts for his Illinois Literature class, it is free and open to the public.
The program is a special tour through the histories, traditions and personalities of the cities and towns of Illinois led by Lynn, who bills himself as “the only person who has ever been to all 2,400 of them. See how Illinois offers Roots, a Hometown and a Little America for us all.”
More information is available from Roberts by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org
) or by phone (309-457-2154).
