| All fees and charges are due two weeks prior to the beginning of the semester in which the student is enrolled. Students may not register until their accounts are paid in full or satisfactory alternative arrangements are made with the Business Office.
Students who have outside scholarships or loans not already credited to their accounts by the day of registration must have written confirmation from the source of the aid if the scholarship or loan is to be considered in computing the net amount due.
| The NBS ( Nelnet Business Solutions) Tuition Payment Plan - formerly FACTS |
To help you meet your educational expenses, Monmouth College is pleased to offer NBS as a convenient budget plan. NBS is a tuition management plan that provides you with a low cost option for budgeting tuition and other educational expenses.
It is not a loan program; therefore, you have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed and there is no credit check. The only cost to budget monthly payments through NBS is a $35.00 per semester or $50.00 per academic year nonrefundable enrollment fee. The enrollment fee is automatically deducted immediately upon submitting your agreement registration to the NBS system.

NBS Tuition Payment Plan
Using NBS is simple. You may enroll online. Information for enrolling online is provided below. You may budget your tuition and fees one of two ways:
Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) ACH payments are those payments you have authorized NBS to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have pre-approved for your expenses at Monmouth College. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. Payments are processed on the 5th or the 20th of each month and will continue through April.
Credit Card Option Many payers have requested the option of charging their monthly tuition payment to their credit card. This enables you to take advantage of various bonus programs, like frequent flyer miles, offered by your credit card company. If you elect to use this option, your monthly payment along with a convenience fee will be automatically charged to the credit card you designate (MasterCard, Discover and American Express only). The convenience fee is in addition to the nonrefundable enrollment fee. Payments will be charged on the 5th or the 20th of each month until the balance is paid in full. If you wish to use this option you may enroll by registering online through e-Cashier. Credit card payments are processed by American Card Services, Inc.
Should an ACH or credit card payment be returned, a $30 returned payment fee will be automatically assessed to your account. You will be notified by NBS of the returned payment via mail or email.
