What is a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee?

SAAC is made up of student-athlete representatives. The committee is a vehicle to promote communication between the athletic administration and student-athletes.

Who are the members of SAAC?

One student-athlete per varsity program, chosen by the Head Coach.

What is the purpose of SAAC?
  • Generating a student-athlete voice within the department
  • Soliciting student-athlete response to NCAA legislation
  • Suggesting potential NCAA legislation Organizing community efforts
  • Creating a vehicle for student-athlete representation on campus wide committees (i.e. Student Government)
