Personal Reflection: The first time I visited Monmouth College was the Fall of 2005. I was a sophomore in high school and was coming to see my sister who was a freshmen here in ‘Fighting Scot’ country. She was a completely different person in just a matter of weeks and she couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful, wonderful, welcoming and like home Monmouth was. As a 15 yr. old little brother…….I thought she had gone crazy!
Little did I know that three years later I would attend MC and then get those same ooey gooey feelings about this place! Fast forward to today, I am now a Monmouth graduate and an Admission Representative at Monmouth College. In my time as a student I found out that this red brick oasis can do some great things to students. The campus brings people in and the MC family welcomes and keeps them here! It can be a lot like going to Grandma’s house!! You may even get cookies.
I would advise that you come to visit campus and see for yourself if it seems like a red brick oasis that can hold you here. We would love to have you!
